April Price is a holistic wellness professional based in Central Coast, California who loves nature, gardening, travel and stand-up comedy. She received her yoga instructor certification from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 2004, under the tutelage of yoga master Cain Carroll. She has since taught yoga in exciting and exotic locations around the world—from the deserts of Arizona to the beaches of Hawaii and Jamaica, to the bustling streets of NYC.

 

April is a laid back yogi whose classes are fun, playful and accessible to students of all ages and skill levels. Since back pain is what originally led April to yoga, she is very sensitive and responsive to students with physical injuries, ailments, and conditions—including seniors and those with weight control issues. Her motto is: "If you can smile, you can do yoga." 

 

In addition to yoga, April has extensive knowledge and experience with a number of natural remedies and healing methods, including nutritional (using various foods and herbs as medicine), aromatherapy (essentials oils and incenses), vibrational crystals, and of course cannabis, which she has grown and used medicinally and sacramentally for over two decades.

 

April is also the founder of Higher Way Travel, a full-service travel agency specializing in 420-friendly vacations, destinations and events. In 2017, she created the Higher Health Retreat—a cannabis wellness experience that includes yoga, vibrational living, essential oils and other natural solutions for self-care. She co-hosted the first event at Coral Cove Resort in Little Bay, Jamaica, and plans to bring the retreat to other cities in the coming years.
